PAL Background Noise Processor (BANSS)
PAL BANSS is a software processor that supports to calibrate 4.1ch or 4ch of noise speakers and up to 9ch of utterance speakers. It is designed for supporting ASR test utilities of different voice assistants. Different from other BGN solutions, it is a standalone processor without bundling with any expensive test systems. It can work seamlessly with your current test systems. You only need to stream your noise or utterance signals the processor. The processor will calibrate the streamed signals in real time.
About
PAL BANSS is a standalone tool to calibrate both of noise and utterance speakers without bundling any expansive test systems. The tool calibrates a 4.1ch or 4ch noise speakers in accordance to the ETSI ES 202 396-1 standard “Loudspeaker Setup for Background Noise Simulation”. It also supports the calibration procedure for utterance speakers or artificial mouths. That means it can help you to calibrate the noise and utterance sources sending from your current used Voice Assistant test solutions by simply plug-in some connection cables.
