What is TIA?

What is TIA-810-B?

 

This Standard ANSI/TIA/EIA-810B established handset, headset and handsfree telephone audio performance requirements for digital telephones regardless of protocol or digital format. A number of improvements and corrections have been made, particularly related to the use of ear simulators.

This standard addresses conventional narrowband performance, where narrowband is defined as the frequency range between 300 and 3400 Hz. Requirements for wideband telephony, in the frequency range between 150 and 6800 Hz defined in TIA-920. (Excerpts from ANSI/TIA-810-B)

1.      Standard Regulatory Testing Services

      The service is targeted to partners who are confident of their products and want to apply TIA-810B. Customer could request the testing scope of TIA-810B according to the product feature. PAL will generate a formal report according to testing result of TIA-810B.

 

2. Trouble Shooting / Consultant

The service is targeted to partners who have conducted with one or more testing items of TIA-810-B, If the result could not satisfied TIA-810B standard. Customer could focus on specific item to do fine tune for several times in PAL laboratory or do some debug action in their own laboratory before send to PAL. PAL will provide free-charged consultant service during the test.
